Video Transcript for Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster Review tcma1

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters. They're available for passenger vehicles, with part number TCMA1. That'll work with wheel sizes between 13 and 20 inches. They're available for light trucks, with part number TCMA 2. This will work with wheel sizes between 14 and 24 inches. Finally, they're available for heavy duty trucks, with part number TCMA3.

These will work with wheel sizes between 15 and 24 and a half inches. These rubber adjusters are designed to work with most Titan Tire Chains. They're going to give you the extra tension you need to make them nice and snug around your tire. They stretch for constant tension, providing a tight and secure fit. Our rubber adjusters attach to the center ring here, which allows it to maintain tension even if one arm breaks. Our attachment hooks make it easy to install.

We'll go ahead and show you that now. We've already got our Titan Chain installed, and as you can see, it's a little loose. Which, is a common problem. That's what our Titan Rubber Adjuster is here to fix. You'll want to be sure that the hooks are facing away from the tire. What we're going to do is go ahead and start by hooking the top.

Then, we're going to go directly across, hook the bottom, and then just work our way around. As you can see, it's already starting to tighten up that cable. That's what we want. Now, after you've got it installed, you can go ahead and put one on the other side. Once you've got them both installed, it's a good idea to drive a short distance, and then stop, get out, and check to see if you need to make further adjustments to your chain. That's going to complete our look at the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters..

These are worth getting. Its faster and easier to install the chains since they make sure the chains dont move on the tire.

Excellent tire chains, and incredible service!! I highly recommend trailer…and these tire chains!!

To be honest I have experienced this myself. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you.

Delivery was excellent; chains and tensioners arrived one day ahead of the promised date. They appear very well made, the price was competitive and shipping was free. etrailer communicated very well all through the process, from ordering to notification of shipping to follow-up after receipt. I did a dry-run installation and it went exactly as the online video showed. Looking forward to trying them out in snow! I would recommend etrailer to anyone in need of snow chains.

Chains are a little loose on my tires, so the snubbers are needed. They work well. I haven't tried them at speed though.

by:

Theses are very easy to install,,takes up the slack /chain rumble,,I also cut four excess links off to customize my 265x75x16" tires fit,,not necessary,,but works for me.

by:

I purchased four of these 'just-in-case' chain adjusters as an alternative or backup to the four chain and spring chain adjusters I already purchased. These adjusters are what I call 'insurance' as we begin traveling full-time for our third year in a row in our truck and camper trailer. I have not had to use these adjusters but I'm glad to have them on board.

by:

Fits like it should...

by:

Worked great for my tire chains. Kept the chains tight from slipping.

by:

Not needed but added to tire chains help keep tight. Heavt duty and took abuse of Mt.

Put chains on with rubber adjusters. On truck ALL winter long and both worked great. A little worn but considering the use they should have been destroyed and are not.

by:

The Titan Multi-Arm rubber tire chain adjusters are a pleasure to use compared to my old method of using individual rubber bungees. I bought these with my new Titan V-Bar snow chains and have driven out into the snowy woods a couple of times since installing them. The rubber adjusters are keeping my chains tight and secure. I did learn that the installation is easier if you hook the first arm at 12 o'clock, second at 6 o'clock, third at 2 o'clock, fourth at 8 o'clock, fifth at 10 o'clock and last at 4 o'clock. This method keeps the center ring centered on the wheel and allows you to pull down against the arm 180º across from the one you are hooking.

by:

I used separate individual rubber tensioners to tighten my truck tire chains. I ordered Titan TCMA2 chain adjusters and they worked more efficiently. The chain adjusters were easy to install and provided even six points of tension. I would recommend to anyone who orders truck chains.

by:

Chains fit perfectly and installed in minutes. Rubber chain adjusters are a great accessory.
Thanks to Kimberly in customer support for getting the right chains and recommending the adjusters.
I'm very happy with the purchase and support from e-trailer and will be purchasing from them again.

I purchased these chains, installed them for a check fit and kept them in the truck on my trip down to California driving the mountain passes in Oregon and California...As luck would have it I never had to chain up going south or when returning back home going north!!I am still highly impressed with the chains and I am glad that I purchased them from Etrailer!!

It’s very important to use Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster so that the chains are tight and don’t scratch rims.

Professional and helpful assistance in ordering Titan chains, via etrailer.com. "First-time" installation was uneventful, due in part to the excellent video assistance. Highly recommended.

  • Best Snow Tire Chains For 2023 Ram ProMaster 2500 With 225/75R-16 Tires
For snow tire chains that fit your 2023 Ram ProMaster 2500 with size 225/75R-16 tires, the best option are from Pewag, with the correct fit being the following: - Pewag Snox Pro Tire Chains # PWSXV580 The # PWSXV580 chains are great for a number of reasons, and chief among them is ease of use. Putting them on your tires only requires you to drape them over the top of your tires, pull forward a smidge, pull the rest of the chain over the tire and drive off. When you do they will tighten...

  • Tire Chains For 225/75-16 Dual Wheel Tires
There is indeed an option for tire chains for your dual wheel 225/75-16 tires, from Titan Chain, at the following part number: - Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w/ Cams for Dual Tires # TC4819CAM The # TC4819CAM have twist links with V-bar studs, which means they provide excellent traction even in deep snow or icy conditions, and their ladder pattern is the best type of pattern for stopping and starting, which is common during wintry conditions. These chains do have built-in cam tighteners...

  • Is There Titan Diamond Tire Chains that Fit 265/60R18 and 265/70R16
The two sizes you mentioned of 265/60R18 and 265/70R16 are incredibly close dimensionally. The widths of both are 10.4 inch and the diameter is within .1 of an inch with the 16 inch wheel size being the bigger of the two. What that says to me is that the # TC2524 probably would fit and worse case scenario you could use tensioners like # TCMA2 to take up any potential slack. Sometimes the reason for fit exclusions that are this close is the actual wheel diameter and how close the lip of...

  • Extra Length of Chain for Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains on 2015 Toyota Tacoma
The Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams # TC2228CAM that fit your 2015 Toyota Tacoma with 265/70R16 tires can have some extra chain, and there are a couple of ways to deal with it. According to Titan, you can tie it off, or you can cut the extra length off if you like. I recommend leaving an extra link or two, securing those with a tie and cutting off the rest, just to be sure you have a little extra slack. I also recommend using adjusters for the tightest fit, the Titan Chain Multi-Arm...

These are Class S compatible and will work great on your tires. I also recommend using chain adjusters like part # TCMA2. These keep the tire chains tight and secure. Per the owner's manual tire chains are to be used on the front tires only.

  • Best Snow Chains for 35/12.5-17 Tires for On-Road and Off-Road Use
The best tire chains for your 35/12.5-17 tires that can be used both on-road or off-road are the Pewag All Square Mud Service Snow Tire Chains # PWE2441S. The reason why is because they have links which are 8.2 mm thick - more than most - along with reinforced square links and a ladder pattern, which gives you the best traction in off-road conditions. I do recommend adding the Glacier Rubber Adjusters # PW99 to help keep the perfect tension on the chains. Another option which will with...

As you mentioned in your question, the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains # TC2216 are a confirmed fit for your 225/75R15 winter tires but not for the slightly larger 235/75R15 size tires. The difference in the two sizes is definitely minimal but I spoke with my contact at Titan and he says he thinks this slight difference could cause some trouble with fitment, as the 225/75R15 is at the large end of what that chain will work on. Class S means they are low-profile on the tires for limited wheel well clearance; I do recommend checking your owner's manual to ensure you can use snow tire chains.
